Ferndell House is a unique, new housing opportunity for "well" seniors, centrally located in the Sydney area. It provides a small, family-style "home" for older people who no longer wish to live alone, but want to remain independent.

Ferndell House accommodates four seniors. Each person would furnish their own bedroom and share a large living room with a fireplace, dining room, den and kitchen. There are two bathrooms all on one level for easy access. The monthly rental is $1300.00 all inclusive, with a lease agreement.

A live-in house manager attends to daily shopping, preparation, of meals and keeping the house in order. Everyone in the house plays a part in its basic management.

Ferndell House is an excellent alternative to living alone. It is not a nursing home, but a retirement home where security and companionship exist together.
