Cove Family Garden

In 2019 the Cove Guest Home established a Family Garden for the Residents, their families and staff to enjoy.  The benefits of gardening programs have been documented to increase happiness, contentment, and overall well being for our residents.

If you can assist this project by making a personal or business donation, it would be greatly appreciated.  Also, we invite our new residents to take a special piece of their own gardens from home with them to their "New Home", and we will plant it for them so they may continue to enjoy it.

"Cove Pride"
More than 20 Cove staff and 11 residents attended Sydney's Pride Parade. The smiles say it all!! So much fun was had by everyone. A huge thankyou to our bus driver Ray Bennett!!!

Pictures of Cove staff taking pride in the service they provide.

The photo of the 4 "Vaccine Queens" is our vaccination team working hard and having fun as we do our part to provide residents and staff protection from covid 19.  Over the course of the pandemic we have provided hundreds of vaccinations to residents, staff and designated care givers.  (Left to Right - Shawna McMullen, Michelle MacIsaac, Allana Bowles and Kayla MacDonald)

Everyone at The Cove knows "The Shine Boys"!!  Clarance and Blair take much pride in keeping our floors waxed and shined at The Cove.  We all know what's in store for the day when we see "Shine Boy" shirts in the hallways of The Cove!!

Today we thought it appropriate that two hard working groups come together to celebrate the work we do.  Vaccine Queens meet The Shine Boys!!
